BUSA, ACCA, MKTA, CSTA Orientation Next Steps: Home

Please take note of the following:

  • MCC emails will be sent to your personal email for the first weeks of enrollment. Check your spam, junk, and promotion folders to ensure you don't miss any important emails.
  • After a week or two, communications will be sent to your MCC student email only, which you'll need to use for all communication with faculty and staff.
  • If you're unsure about receiving emails (due to admission status or enrollment changes), please contact your Admissions Counselor to confirm your status.
  • All MCC forms (including orientation materials link) are only accessible using your MCC student email.
  • If you haven't been admitted yet but are on track to start, complete as many steps as possible to avoid falling behind. Note that completing these steps does not guarantee admission.
  • Each task has a dedicated MCC department for assistance. Please reach out to the correct department for faster responses to your questions.
  • If you are unsure who to contact, please get in touch with the International Student Services Manager Shaudy Martinez at smartinez@mccollege.edu

Once the deadline for the week passes, you cannot submit assignments or activities for that week, so it is important that you complete them weekly before the submission deadline.

COLLEGE SUCCESS COURSE

You must complete your College Success Course on D2L.

College Success Course (CSC) is a self-paced course that all new students are required to complete before the start of the 1st term.

  • Among other things, the course introduces students to D2L Brightspace Learning Management System, which you will use for the duration of your program.

  • The course has five modules with the quiz after each module.
    • You need to pass all 5 quizzes to complete the course and earn the completion certificate.

  • Do not wait till the last moment to start the course as it contains a lot of information you need to cover before the start of the 1st term.

Please download the student checklist below.

Please complete the New Student Orientation Survey to share your feedback about your orientation experience. Your responses will help us improve future sessions and ensure that all students feel welcomed, informed, and supported as they begin their journey with us.
