Transfer Credit Policy points to understand and acknowledge:
To be considered for transfer:
The course must be comparable in nature, content, and level of credit to an MCC course. Generally, MCC will not consider for transfer any courses that have a smaller credit load than a corresponding MCC course.
MCC will accept the general education courses completed within ten (10) years from the date of the transfer request and awarded a grade of C or higher (70 or above).
MCC will accept Business and Information Technology courses completed within five (5) years from the date of completion and awarded a grade of C or higher (70 or above).
MCC will accept Medical Foundation courses and the general education Biology course completed within five (5) years from the date of the transfer request and awarded a grade of B or higher (80 or above).
MCC may award transfer credit for valid and or active industry certifications or nationally recognized licensure examinations based on the appropriateness and applicability of the credential to the MCC program curriculum.
MCC will not award transfer credit for the following types of courses:
MCC reserves the right to limit the transferability of credit based on the source of credit, the method of instruction, or the duration of the term. The final determination on the transferability of credit is made by MCC and cannot be appealed.
Transcripts submitted to MCC for credit transfer consideration become the property of the college and will not be returned to the student or forwarded to other institutions.
Official Transcripts must be submitted directly by your former college(s). Please ask your previous educational institution to mail official transcripts to:
Midwestern Career College
Attn to: Registrar’s Office
100 S Wacker Dr. LL1-50
Chicago, IL 60606
If your college prefers to send official transcripts electronically, they should send them to attn to: registrar@mccollege.edu either through electronic service like Parchment or via protected pdf or pdf link sent directly from the college.
If you already submitted official transcripts for transfer credit (TC) evaluation and have not received confirmation from your admissions counselor on whether your TCs were processed and/or accepted, please email registrar@mccollege.edu from your MCC student email.
All transcripts that are not from an American institution must be evaluated. All evaluations must be completed by an approved NACES agency. Transcripts in a language other than English must also include an official English translation. Any costs incurred for evaluation and/or translation services are the responsibility of the student and must be paid directly to the agency performing the service. Students who wish to transfer academic credit must order a course-by-course evaluation. Students submitting foreign transcripts to satisfy a credential requirement (for example, to provide documentation of High School graduation) can submit a general evaluation showing equivalency of their credential to the one in the United States.
MCC has partnered with the below NACES members, creating a custom application for Midwestern Career College. See below:

International Education Evaluations (IEE)
IEE is a member of NACES, NAFSA, and AACRAO. IEE reports are accepted by thousands of colleges, universities, licensing boards, and the USCIS. We have been serving students and our admissions partners for over 40 years. IEE provides 3-day standard processing.
IEE does not believe in hidden fees. IEE does not charge per degree or document. If the student/applicant submits multiple credentials/degrees (such as transcripts and certificates), the student/applicant will be charged a specific fixed rate for an evaluation fee. However, if the student/applicant adds their high school credentials along with their post-secondary credentials in their evaluation, there will be an additional fee of $30 on top of basic evaluation fee plus shipping/mailing or other types of delivery methods. Please note that the regular turnaround time is now 3 standard days
