An F-1 verification letter is a letter written by the DSO to verify a student's current active enrollment and F-1 status (please see the sample below). It's mostly requested by a bank or the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) office, sometimes by embassies. Students need to have met enrollment requirements at MCC to be eligible for this letter. If you have not yet started your first term, you can fulfill this requirement by making a tuition payment.
