How to Apply? (if you don't have social security number)
1. Review the requirements and application process on the IL state website for TVDL
2. Prepare the documents below
- I-94
- Passport
- Most recent I-20
- Good Standing Letter (Please see the 'Requests' tab)
- 2 Proofs of Illinois residency such as: *(see the acceptable identification documents)
- Bank Statement (dated within 90 days of application)
- Lease agreement with address listed, your name and signature of the landlord
- Utility Bill (electric, water, cell phone, etc., issued within 90 days of application)
- Renter’s insurance policy
3. Visit driver's license office and apply.
